Students must be at least 15 years of age to begin their driver's education program and obtain their Learner's Permit. Students can register at 14, however the BMV Written Test age requirement is 15.
1. Register with Midwest Driving School
2. Click here to get the latest copy of the Indiana Driver's Manual
3. Go to the BMV to take the written test to get your learners permit. (Don't forget required documents)
4. Begin your 30 hours online class, we like this to be complete before drives are scheduled
5. Begin working on getting your 50 required hours (the 6 hours with us count towards the 50).
6. Once you have at least 20 of the required 50, contact us to schedule your 6 behind the wheel drives
Don't forget the Driving Skills test….We are certified to administer this so you do not have to go through the inspection of your car at the BMV…Plus WHY NOT? Your child is already familiar with our cars and instructors.
